As midsummer unfolds and the gardens are in full bloom, with the castle and rose garden providing a beautiful backdrop, you’re invited to join us for a nourishing evening of ceremonial cacao, immersive sound, nature, and connection within the beautiful grounds of Wadhurst Castle Estate.

Held between the enchanting Walled Garden and the characterful Carriage Barn, this special gathering begins with a heart-opening ceremonial cacao experience in nature before unfolding into a deeply restorative sound bath. An opportunity to pause, recalibrate, and reconnect with yourself and the rhythms of the season.

We begin in the Walled Garden, surrounded by seasonal blooms and the stunning backdrop of the castle. There is time to arrive, settle, and take in the beauty of your surroundings. You may choose an oracle card, spend a few moments journalling, or simply sit quietly as the evening gently unfolds.

At the heart of the evening is ceremonial-grade Criollo cacao, a gentle yet powerful plant ally. Rich in antioxidants and naturally containing theobromine and magnesium, cacao is known to support mood, circulation, and a subtle sense of openness, often felt as clarity, warmth, and a softening into the heart.
Prepared with care using high-quality organic ingredients and served in brightly coloured ceramic cups, this becomes more than a drink—it becomes a ritual. A moment to slow down, soften, and receive.

As we gather within the garden, you’ll be guided through gentle practices designed to help you reconnect with your body, your breath, and the abundance of the season. Accompanied by the steady heartbeat of the drum, there will be space for intention setting, reflection, and simply being present with whatever arises.

As the evening deepens, we move into the warmth and shelter of the Carriage Barn for a deeply immersive sound bath.
Lying back in comfort, you’ll be bathed in layered tones from Crystal Tones® singing bowls, Paiste gong, shamanic and ocean drums, native-style flute, gentle percussion, and soft vocals. These rich vibrations create a cocoon-like soundscape that supports deep relaxation, integration, and restoration.
The experience becomes one of renewal and rest, allowing the body to soften, the mind to quieten, and the nervous system to settle into a deeper state of ease.
